Slovenia is a small country, but it is full of attractions! Whether you prefer the sea or the lake, or different hiking excursions, there is something for everyone. In this blogpost, we will discuss some of the beauties and charm that Slovenia has to offer, and who knows, maybe you’ll decide to invest in a small beach home there!
One of the top-rated beaches is the beach Mesečev Zaliv, located near Strunjan. This one is a great beach for those who are looking for an adventure, as the access to this beach is a little difficult, but don’t worry as it is safe. You have the option of getting to the beach on foot or by car, if you go by car, there is a medium sized parking lot. The beach here has small stones, so it might not be easy to lounge around on.
The next beach is Simonov Zaliv, near Izola, which is an old fishing town. This beach is perfect for families, as it has amenities that provide ease and comfort. Amenities such as a toilet and shower on the beach. There is also a playground, perfect as an activity with the kids. There are also many activities you can partake in here; swimming, snorkeling, jumping in the water, and water sports – to name a few! However, if you visit this beach, you should be prepared for the many people, as this is a touristic hotspot.
Another beach worth mentioning is, Svetilnik, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Slovenia. You can access it easily by car, and there is a parking lot, so you don’t have to worry about parking. The beach here has fine gravel on it, so sand will not get stuck to you and it is also more comfortable for lounging than pebble beaches. A great beach for families, as the water is not deep and so children can comfortably play in the shallows.
Even though, Slovenia’s shore is not huge, it has a lot of diversity. The fact that it is small adds a lot of personality to the country, and we think it would be great place to invest in a property near the sea, maybe for some remote working or just a holiday home by the sea. What do you think, are you the ready to make the move?
