Spring is just around the corner, and before we know it, summer will be here – this has got us dreaming about where our next holiday destination will be. For this blogpost, we have done some research and found some more of the most beautiful beaches in the world!
1. Boracay White Beach, Philippines
This beach is perfect for people who love swimming because of its calm and flat waters. Roughly around 5 kilometres, this beach is considered to be one of the most popular beaches in Boracay and offers everything you could need – from beach activities, restaurants, hotels to a fun nightlife.
2. Whitehaven Beach, Queensland, Australia
This beach is a small 7-kilometre coastline located along Whitsunday Island. The beach covers blue and green waters, a number of lagoons, inlets, and covers. The sand is white, which also gives the sea a particularly mesmerising colour. The location is very remote, which means that it is rarely ever crowded and so it is the perfect location for a little quiet escape.
3. Meeru Island, North Atoll, Maldives
Also called a slice of paradise, Meeru Island is just a 350 meters long white sandy beach perfect for sunbathing and snorkelling. Meeru Island is the only resort on Meerufenfushi Island, and you’ll have to book a visit to it to experience this slice of paradise.
4. Na Pali Coast, Kauai, Hawaii
Na Pali Coast is located on the northwest of Kauai Island, and it is best visited by boat or canoe. Experienced trekkers can also explore this beach via the Kalalau Trail, but it is a demanding hike that is around 17 kilometres one way. The trail runs from Ke’e Beach to Kalalau Beach, and we recommend only taking it on well prepared.
5. Bingin Beach, Bali, Indonesia
If you’re a surfer, you might want to check out this beach since it offers some of the most demanding surfing conditions. But even if you’re not a surfer, you should check this beach out during low-tide
6. Railay Beach, Krabi, Thailand
Located on the coast of Railay peninsula, just south of the cities of Krabi and Ao Nang rests Railay Beach. The scenery at this beach features intense limestone formations that make this the perfect destination for those who love rock climbing.
7. Anse Source D’Argent, La Digue Island, Seychelles
If you’re a photography lover, Anse Source D’Argent, is a must visit. Located along La Digue island, this island is incredibly scenic due to its pure white sands and insane looking boulders.
8. McWay Falls, Big Sur, California
Located in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park along Highway 1 in Big Sur, this beach has a spectacular waterfall. It is situated among incredible jagged rocks and offers fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean.
9. Bai Sao, Phu Quoc, Vietnam
One might describe this beach as what you imagine to idyllic beaches to look like. White sands, crystal clear waters, palm trees and beach bars are some of the things you’ll find on this beach. It is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
10. Blue Lagoon, Oludeniz, Turkey
Oludeniz, meaning “dead sea” in Turkish, was named thanks to its calm waters. It is home to the Blue Lagoon, with white sands and turquoise waters. If you go here, you can expect a calm atmosphere and some adventurous activities to do. But you won’t find a lively nightlife here.
