Summer is just around the corner, and should the COVID-19 pandemic allow it, so are music festivals! No better way to enjoy summer holidays than going to a great music festival in a beautiful city. Here are some of our favourites:
Sonus festival takes place on the shores on Pag island in Croatia, from the 15th of August until the 19th. They host more than 70 electro artists, where you can dance in the open-air all night long. Watching the sunrise whilst listening to your favourite DJs, or swimming in crystal clear waters everyday seems to be the biggest highlights of this festival. Sounds pretty convincing to me…

Boardmasters festival takes place every year in Cornwall, United Kingdom usually over the 5 days on the second week of August. The genre of music is based around rock, indie rock, alternative rock, and dance. Besides enjoying some amazing rock music, you can also participate in the surfing/skateboarding competitions in the town of Newquay. A great festival for those who are searching for some more activity alongside enjoying concerts.

Rolling Loud is a Hip Hop festival that takes place in Algarve, Portugal between the dates of the 6th of July and 8Th of July. This festival is in hot demand, and tickets seem to sell out quick so make sure to keep track of the release of tickets. This year, due to popular demand they have added two extra dates from the 9th of July till the 10th. Algarve is a beautiful location for a festival, with its soaring cliffs and golden sandy beaches, you are definitely bound to have a good time. It even gets 300 days of sun, which is perfect for music festivals.

Ultra-Europe is a 3 day event hosting the world’s top EDM DJ’s. It takes place in Split, Croatia from the 9th of July until the 11th. Ultra-Europe provides the surreal sounds, and Split provides the surreal scenery – the perfect combination.

The Hangout festival takes place on the beaches of Gulf Shores in Alabama, United States. It is an annual festival, in 2022 it will be from May 20 to 22. There is a wide range of the type of music, ranging from rock, alternative rock, electronic dance music, indie rock, reggae, jam band to hip hop.
