Sitting just north of Sydney, located in the Hawkesbury River, this island stretches over 29-hectares of sand. The population is around 250 people, and some of its cute perks are its:

This island, between New York and Ontario, is a part of the Thousand Islands archipelago. It covers a simple 307 square meters – which means it is the smallest inhabited island! Just off the coast of Seward, Fox Island is known for being the crown jewel of Alaska’s Resurrection Bay. Think of tall mountains, pebble beaches, coves that are sheltered and impressive glaciers. This island also comes with adventure, as the islands peaks are legendary for hiking! Some other adventures you can take on are sea kayaking, salmon fishing, and wildlife peeping. In around mid-May, humpback whales feed on herring in the Resurrection Bay for around a month, you can try to catch some sights of them.
A couple of kilometres on the west of Portugal in the mid-Atlantic, 9 islands known as the Azores sit, and Corvo Island is one of them. This is the largest and most populous island in the archipelago, and it is just beautiful. This island revels in its obscurity, it is so serene and isolated. With just 400 inhabitants, 3 restaurants and 5 accommodations, it really is small! But don’t let the islands small size make you think that there isn’t adventure here, because there is! Plus, the volcanic landscape offers endless exploration.
